About the Event

Bala Vainavan Series are module-based lesson plans curated for children, based on Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam. This series is co-conducted by STD Pathasaala and Srishti Tales.

The 3rd module in the Bala Vainavan series is about two all time favourite personalities of our Sampradayam - Andal and Sri Krishna. Andal’s bhakti marga entails the engagement of our 5 senses or mano (mind), vak (word) and kaya (body) in bhagavath kainkariyam. By doing so, we fall into a discipline that keeps us constantly thinking about Him without any extra effort. The five easy steps that Andal says are Thooyomai vandhu, thoomalar thoovi, thozhudhu, Vaayinaal paadi, manathinaal Sindhikka.

Children will learn the key aspects of the Andal's path of devotion towards Krishna in a simple, practical and fun way. As always we have put together age-appropriate songs, art activities, stories of not just Andal and Krishna but many other bhaktas who have practised and showed us this Sanmarga.

Key Highlights - Learning of Pasurams from Nachiyaar Thirumozhi and fun challenges for the children to put these ideas into practice in their own little way!

Lesson plans for all our modules are curated for two age groups:

Juniors – 6 to 8  years

Seniors – 9 to 13 years.

THIS 6-WEEK MODULE WILL BE CONDUCTED ON ALL SATURDAYS FROM AUGUST 21st TO SEPTEMBER 25th.
