COMPETITION GUIDELINES

A. AGE GROUP

• Entries will be assessed for four age groups - Group A - 6 to 8 years, Group B - 9 to 11 years, Group C - 12 to 14 years, Group D - 15 to 17 years.

• Please join the suitable groups as per the child’s completed age as of April 30th, 2024

B. ENTRIES

• One child can participate in one or all categories. The participant's full name, address, email ID, and phone number should be sent along with the entries.

• Each file attached should be named in the following format: (NAME_GROUP_CATEGORY_PHONE NUMBER)

• Entries are to be emailed only to the given email address: admin@srishtitales.com. Entries sent via WhatsApp or Messenger will not be accepted.

C. STORYTELLING - Each participant must submit only one video clip. Maximum duration: 5 min. All the storytelling videos received will be published on our YouTube channel and also on our website.

D. ART OR LITERARY WORKS - All the literary entries must be handwritten on paper (dated), converted, and sent as a pdf. Typed documents will not be accepted. A picture of the child clicked along with their work must be attached too.

E. PRIZE - This contest will be judged in both Tamil and English. In each category, two prizes will be awarded. They will be in the form of products from Srishti Tales. Prizes will be awarded for seven categories, as mentioned below:

Group A - தமிழில் கதை சொல்லுதல், Storytelling in English

Group B - தமிழில் சிறுகதை எழுதுதல், Short story writing in English

Group C - தமிழில் சிறுகதை எழுதுதல், Short story writing in English

Group D - Essay writing in English

NOTE - This contest is intended to bring out the artistic and literary talents of the children. Only original and age-appropriate work will be recognised and appreciated. Avoid plagiarism in any form. Kindly do not submit previously published or competed entries.
